  shield of fictive skin / paper thin / wardrobe the heart and clone
   
  each scar / each wound’s seethe / salved / dressed clean

  cloister close / don’t come out / yet cocoon of tunic doublet lace  
   
  don’t the fabric folds / fit well the words / an easy-flowing out

  how / comfortable the mask / against my face / fiction better

  barrier than none / cloak my part / paint each scar each / wound’s garnet
   
  portrait / wait for the signal sign / -seeker wait / for a wedding / a wandering star
